Desta Gallery was founded by Emebet Korn in 2014 in Marin, just north of San Francisco, with a heartfelt vision to create a space where contemporary art could inspire, connect, and transform. In 2024, Emebet evolved that vision by transitioning from a physical gallery to a hybrid model that integrates an online gallery, art consulting, and curated off-site exhibitions, extending the gallery’s reach while maintaining a personal approach. Her ongoing participation in national and international art fairs and venues keeps her closely attuned to the broader art world, continually engaging with new voices and navigating an evolving market with insight and clarity.
